Lewis Hamilton hits the wall to bring FP3 to an early end in Monaco

Just when it looked as if Ferrari had lowered the gap to her rivals, Lewis Hamilton found the wall in the last minutes of the last training session for the Monaco Grand Prix and gave the team a lot to do before they qualify.

Shortly after his team -mate Charles Leclerc had led the fastest round of the weekend, Hamilton had to improve his sector times, but had to retire due to the traffic.

The seven-time world champion went on another flying round to round off the session, and fell against most of the right side of his Ferrari contact in curve 3, also known as Masset. The front right tire came from the edge to roll over the route, and he had to pull up and wait for his car to be restored.

Further repetitions showed that Hamilton's concern after climbing from the car was absolutely the right back of the SF-25, in which the gearbox is located-the reconstruction job for Ferraris Mechanik will later complicate it before qualifying.
