The police examined after two killed accidents on SE Loop 410 on the south side

SAN ANTONIO – The police in San Antonio determined after two people were killed on the south side in an accident on Southeast Loop 410.

The crash occurred shortly before 2 p.m. Friday. According to the police, two people drove to the east on the Southeast Loop 410 in the same vehicle and approached Moursund Boulevard.

The construction work in front of the vehicle had the two -lane road reduced to one track, the police said. When the vehicle slowed down for traffic, the two people were hit by a Chevy Silverado from 2014 from behind, the police said.

The victim's vehicle drove into a grass area and hit a guardrail before returning to the main traces, the police said. The Chevy Silverado rolled on the side and slipped over the main traces.

The victims, a woman in the fifties and a man, were declared dead at the crime scene, the police said. They were not identified from Saturday morning.

The driver of the Silverado, a 22-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution, the police said.

Due to the crash, the alleys in the east were closed for almost three hours on Southeast Loop 410.
