Motorcyclists who were killed in the frontal crash of Catawba County say soldiers, say soldiers

Catawba, NC (WBTV) – According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist was killed in Catawba County late Friday evening.

Soldiers said it was taking place in the Hudson Chapel Road near the Brown Chapel Road at 11:20 p.m.

A motorcycle that drove to the west on the Hudson Chapel Road lost control, crossed the center line and collided head -on with a Honda Civic.

The 24 -year -old motorcyclist Django Rosenbaum from Sherrill's Ford was ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet, said soldiers.

The driver of the Honda and two other passengers were not injured.

Soldiers said their first examination had an excessive speed to make the contributor factor for the crash. During the examination in front of the scene, the road was closed for about two hours. No fees are submitted in this crash.
