Lakers train Kentucky Guard Lamont Butler

The NBA design of 2025 is just around the corner because teams want to bring in young talents to strengthen their squad. Unfortunately, the Los Angeles Lakers have no choice in the first round this year, so that they are only selected in No. 55 in the second round.

However, this does not mean that the design for the Lakers cannot be useful because they were successful in the second round before. Players like Max Christie and Ivica Zubac were the latest selection of LA, who ultimately proved to be a rotary player or in the case of Zubac, one of the top centers of the NBA.

With the design on the horizon, the Lakers start to see some players by bringing them to training, including Kentucky Wildcats Guard Lamont Butler, about Bill O'Rear:

Last season for the wildcats, Butler scored an average of 11.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists for 49.8% from the field and 39.1% from the 3-point range. Previously, he spent four college games with San Diego State when he continued to develop as a security guard.

To achieve the career height in an ultra-competitive conference in the SEC is impressive and La tends to prefer experienced college players late in the design. If Butler ends up with the Lakers what exactly is where he is projected late in the second round, this would give you a different view that you want to develop into a rotational player.

Butler is a 3-and-D watch as a three-time selection of Berg West Conference, 2023-24 Mountain West Conference Defense of the Year and certainly has fascinating properties as a flyer in the second round, this direction should go.

Lakers also worked out the Uconn Center Samson Johnson

It is no secret that the Lakers need a center for Luka Doncic's style of play. The draft offers the opportunity to add an inexpensive player to potentially form in a rotation piece, and LA has reportedly also worked out the Uconn Center Samson Johnson.
