Compassionate teenager who was killed on Cape Cod during the after-Prom crash hoped to become a nurse

An 18-year-old will be remembered because of her sympathy and her friendliness.

Ava Lodico drove on the Acapesket Road at around 11 p.m. when her Range Rover SUV rolled and hit a tree, and catered on May 17, reported Capecod.com. It was an hour after leaving her senior prom.

She died in the Rollover car accident.

“Ava was generous, compassionate and friendly,” was her obituary. “Including all the surroundings. She made everyone laugh with her great sense of humor and quick -witted comeback. Her smile was bright and she was able to light up a room.”

She was a senior at the Falmouth High School. She intended to visit Dartmouth in autumn and was enrolled in the nursing program. She volunteered for the Falmouth Road Race and the Ryan Hendricks I got you got foundation.

She also loved the beach, looked at sunsets with friends, danced and accepted concerts.

A Gofundme for Lodico's family has collected more than 30,000 US dollars from Saturday.

“She lived her life to the fullest and was the life of the party,” read her obituary.

A visit will take place on May 27 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funerals & Cremations in Falmouth. A funeral will take place on May 28th at 1 p.m. in the Cape Cod Church, which is located on 1205 Nathan Ellis Highway in East Falmouth.
