“Watch Fire” in the Veterans National Memorial Shrine & Museum remembers, honored fallen US military members

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Wpta) – A “Watch Fire” took place in the Veterans National Memorial Shrine & Museum this weekend.

From 6 p.m. from Friday to 6 p.m. on Saturday, a fire burned on O'Day Road.

According to the organization, “firefire” arranges back to the 1700s.

Many now contain constant strains on a fire over a certain period of time to honor fallen military members.

This year the Veterans National Memorial Shrine & Museum organized its 37th annual “Watch Fire”.

The event takes place every May in front of the Memorial Day.

The organization will hold a dedication ceremony for the monument of the Second World War and a Pow/Mia bank on Sunday at 12 noon, and a program for the memorial day “Rolling Thunder” on Monday at 1 p.m. for the Memorial Day Holiday.
