A man was fatally shot on Friday evening, May 23, with a Flare pistol in Huntington Beach, and a boy was arrested for murder -suspect after the scene escaped, the police said.

Around 8:40 p.m., the officials reacted to reports on a shootout near Florida Street and the Utica Avenue, said the Huntington Beach police authority. They found a man suffering from a firing wound caused by a flare weapon.

Paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
