The Netflix show by House of the Dragon Star with perfect rotting tomatoes was renewed for the second season

After the fans feared that the TV show Geek Girl would be next in the Netflix Hackklotz, the series was probably saved from cancellation because it drives for a second season.

Almost a year after the hit screens of the first season, Netflix Geek Girl has renewed Girl for the second season. The streamer announced via Tudum that “the second season is planned in the summer of 2025 and has its premiere on Netflix in 2026.”

GEK Girl was premiered in 2024 with Emily Carey, who is primarily known to play the young Alicent Hightower in HBOS House of the Dragon. The series follows unpleasant high -school Harriet Maners, whose life is turned upside down when looking for a London model agent. Although season 2 does not yet have a synopsis, the streamer has confirmed that Carey, together with the co-star Liam Woodrum, will return as a Harriet Love Interest Nick Park. The show is based on the best-selling YA novels by the author Holly Smale. Since there are five books in the series, we can suspect that season 2 could concentrate on the second story with the title Model MISFIT.
