Booked three to snap cash

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked three offenders to snap cash and a smartphone. The investigative representative (io) Jagtar Singh said that the accused were identified as Kultdeep, alias Seepa, Gurpreet, both inhabitants of the village of Bajuha Kalan and Varindar, alias Gora, a resident of the Bajuhd village. Narindar Singh, a resident of Mohalla Jattpura, Kapurthala, complained to the police that the accused called him near Bajuha Kalan Dorf and RS 1,300 RS and a smartphone. The IO said a case according to § 309- (4) (robbery) and 3 (5) (the crime with common intentions) of the BNS was registered against the accused.

Couple that was arrested according to the NDPS Act

The Lohian Khas police arrested a couple for the sale of intoxicant boards. The investigative representative (io) Balveer Chand said that 196 intoxicating tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused, who was identified as a prince, a resident of the village of Jamsher, and his wife Sona, alias Bebi. The IO said a case in accordance with sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act had been registered against the accused.

Two thought to eat heroin

The Shahkotpur police arrested two drug addicts because of the consumption of heroin. The investigative representative (IO) and the Malesian Police Post Buta Ram said that the accused were identified as Sukhwindar Singh, aka Sonu and Lovreet Singh, alias Labha, both inhabitants of the village of Bhoepur. The IO said a lighter, silver paper and a plastic tube used to consume medication were obtained from their possession. A case according to sections 27/61/85 of the NDPS law was registered against the accused, he added.

Three booked for murder

PHAGWARA: The Bilga police booked a mother-son duo and a Panchayat member to murder a co-villager. Sho Palwindar Singh said that the accused were identified as Pushpa Rani, her son Manpreet, aka Gaggi and Jagtar, alias Beru, all residents of the village Ladharr Kalan. The shoe said that the accused murdered Lovdeep alias Labha from the village of Ladharr on May 22nd. Jeeto, the mother of the deceased, complained to the police that the defendant had put her son to death. The SHO said a case in accordance with sections 103 (murder), 79 (words, gestures or actions that are supposed to insult the modesty of a woman) and 3 (5) (crimes with common intent) of the BNS against the accused.

PHAGWARA: The Shahkot police arrested a villager for brewing illegal countries. Angrej Singh, the investigative officer (IO), said that the accused was identified as Gian Singh, a resident of Kotla Surajmall village. The IO said 200 kg Lahan (RAW alcohol) and utensils for brewing and storing Lahan were recovered by the defendant, said the IO. A case in accordance with sections 61/1/14 of the Consumption Tax Act was registered against the accused, he said.
