Cedric Coward of the state of Washington opens up for the NBA design of Duke Transfer

Seattle (AP) – Washington State Guard Cedric Coward, who intended to transition to Duke, will instead keep his name in the NBA design of 2025, he told ESPN on Saturday.

The 21 -year -old Coward achieved an average of 17.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists in six games for the Cougars last season, before his year ended prematurely due to a partially torn shoulder labrum. The 6-foot 6-Fezling also shot 40% compared to the 3-point range last season, its first with Washington State.

Coward started his college career in Division III Willamette in 2021 and then moved to East Washington, where he spent two seasons. In 2024, Coward was a big team member of Sky All-First.

Born in Fresno, California, is the projected overall selection of No. 30 in the NBA design of 2025, according to ESPN's latest shelf design.
