Oregon Ducks, Liberty Flames Super Regional Game 2

The Oregon Ducks Softball Team is only a win from winning a place in the World Series 2025 Women's College. On Friday evening, Oregon overtook the Liberty Flames in an additional Inning thriller to take the first of the best of three series.

The second game between the ducks and flames in the Super Regional is set for 4 p.m. PT on ESPN in the Jane Sanders Stadium in Eugene. Although Oregon plays at home, he is the “road” team for game 2 and will beat first.

The Oregon Ducks defeated the Liberty Flames in the first game of Eugene Super regionally on Friday evening. In a 2-2 ball game in the lower edge of the eighth inn with runners in second and third place, Dezianna Patson scored a line in the middle and scored the winning run. Oregon now only has to win one of the next two games against Liberty to secure her place in College World Series.

Oregon Duck's coach Melyssa Lombardi said her team just fought until they found a way to win.

“We had something early that didn't go in our way and it didn't matter,” said Lombardi after the game. “We continued to fight and fought. We talk a lot that we don't always know exactly how we will win or what the game will look like, but we know that we will find a way.”

Just like you, to send Oregon on a way back to the Super Regional last week, Patmon came back into the clutch.

Oregon has no more women -World series since 2018. Saturday evening is a golden opportunity for the ducks to make this series. Oregon recently made a super regional in 2023, where they fell too short and ended their dreams from the World Series.

The ducks were over one of the best team in the country all season. You have a record of 52-8 in total and 19-3 in the Big Ten conference game. In her first season as a member of the big ten, Oregon won the regular season title of the conference.

The Ducks went to the super regional after going through the opening region against Weber State, Binghampton and Stanford.

Oregon is run by Senior Outfield Kedre Lushar, who is in the stroke at .451 and 59 runs with 59 runs. Oregons Homerun director is the newcomer Rylee McCoy, who hit 19 Big Flies.
