Wentzville man killed in the crash on the Highway 47 in Warren County

Weldon Spring, Mon. (first alarm 4) – A man from Wentzville was killed when heavy smoke led to traffic jams, and the motorcycle he drove was hit by another vehicle by another vehicle on Highway 47 in Warren County on Saturday afternoon.

Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer identifies people who are involved in traffic accidents, but reports that the victim was 69 years old. After the crash, he was brought to the Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri, where he was later died.

According to the Highway Patrol, three vehicles were south towards the south at 1:20 p.m. when the visibility was covered south of the Boone Monument Road due to strong smoke.

The patrol said that the man who was killed drove a motorcycle and slowed down for the upcoming traffic jam when he was hit by a Honda limousine. The motorcycle then hit a minivan in front of it.

According to the patrol, the motorcyclist did not wear a helmet.

The 64-year-old driver of the Minivan suffered minor injuries in the crash and was brought to the Mercy Hospital for treatment.
