Panthers scored 5 in the third period 5, rolled past Hurricanes 6-2 and moves a victory from the cup final away

Sunrise, Fla. -Niko Mikkola and Aleksander Barkov each scored two goals, and the Florida Panthers scored five goals in a nine-minute period of the third period to defeat the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday evening 6-2 and to move from a third trip to Stanley Cup final.

Jesper Boqvist, who played for the injured Sam Reinhart, scored the go-ahaeead goal for Florida at the beginning of third place, which is now leading the Eastern Conference final. Brad Marchand also scored 23 shots for the Panthers and Sergei Bobrovsky.

Logan Stankoven and Seth Jarvis scored for Carolina, who has now won 15 consecutive East Finals games -by Pittsburgh in 2009, Boston in 2019, Florida in 2023, and is now on the sidelines of the IT lead.

Game 4 is on Monday in sunrise.

Florida's five goals in the third period were a club record for every playoff time and ruined, which Carolina seemed to change to change the goalkeeper in game 3.
