WWE Saturday evening Main Event: Complete summary and highlights

WWE did a great job at the main event on Saturday evening. It felt like an episode of RAW or Smackdown on steroids and it went much deeper than I expected.

Here is what happened.

WWE on Saturday evening

Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker Def. Sami Zayn and Cm Punk – Bronson Reed returns

I was not interested in the winner of this game; I waited to see what the payment would look like and it was worth waiting. We found out who Paul Heyman's third man would be, and it was Bronson Reed.

In fact, Rollins was the orchestrator of this association, which gives even more depth. Reed appeared and destroyed punk with a tsunami. Punks sales were also outstanding. Overall, this was an excellent start of the show.

(c) Zelina Vega Def. Chelsea Green to keep the US championship of women

I will not lie; I thought Vega would lose the title here. She didn't. Vega kept her title with a super code red for the clean victory.

Green is still great and she worked a broken nose at the end of the game. This was easily the weakest game of the night, but it is good to see Vega's reign a little longer.

John Cena Def. R-Truth alias Ron Cena

In short, this match was one of the highlights of the evening. Cena came out with his farewell tour, but in Tampa Bay Buccaners colors. R-Truth followed him to rock a temporary version of Cena's classic T-shirt to rock-a picture of him and said “Ron” Cena.

The truth came to Cena's characteristic music, made its entrance and during the game a 5-knucke shuffle and a adjustment adjustment landed.

Cena won when he stepped under the belt and landed his own AA. It was a great segment.

Damian Priest Def. Drew Mcintyre in the steel cage game

If this is the end of the priest-Mcintyre feud, it was a violent conclusion. There were several hellish places, but the last blow was a concert by priest. He left the cage while Mcintyre sold the severity of the position perfectly.

Jesse Ventura made color -spotted a match and it was pretty brutal. He did not seem to know that the rules for a steel cage game are different today than in the 1980s.

Thanks to his contributions, there were several other separate parts of the audio.

(c) Jey uso def. Logan Paul, to keep the World Cup in heavyweight, intervene John Cena and Cody Rhodes returns

To close the night, Uso kept his title, but not before Cena appeared and tried to help Paul win the title.

When it looked like Cena had become the tables in favor of Paul, Cody Rhodes scored music and he came to rescue. Rhodes then seemed to lock up a day team match between him and Uso against Cena and Paul at Money in the bank.

I like the idea that Cena tries to ruin the wrestling by gaining a YouTuber the world championship title. Despite Rhodes' rescue on Saturday evening, it feels like something that will happen at some point this year.
