Yankees jump back with blowout victory against Rockies (highlights)

The bats of the New York Yankees (31-20) became alive in Coors Field on Saturday afternoon and achieved a dominant 13: 1 victory against the Colorado Rockies (9-43) behind a relentless offensive and another jewel by Max Fried.

Aaron Judge got things rolling early and started his second Homerun in so many days with a solo shot to the right in the first inn. But the real damage occurred in the fifth when the Yankees sent 14 batteries to the plate and exploded 10 runs, their second double -digit inning of this season. Austin Wells and Oswald Peraza triggered the rally, and the Yankees used a Rockies mistake, the most important hits by Paul Goldschmidt, Anthony Volpe and Trent Grisham and a double double from two runs to break the game wide open.

Each starter recorded at least one goal in the 21 hit rush. Goldschmidt, Bellinger, Volpe and DJ Lemahieu each collected three goals.

Max Fried ensured that the offensive outbreak did not disappear. The left was commandant all afternoon and only allowed one run with six goals in 7.1 Innerings while he was seven. He also took two runners to continue his league pace in this category and lowered his ERA to a sparkling 1.29.

Ian Hamilton ended the matter of 1.2 goalless innings of relief to seal the victory.

Box score
