Brooke Bellamy breaks silence on social media in the middle of the recipe scandal

Celebrity Baker Brooke Bellamy She returned to social media and finally violated her silence for weeks after being accused of plagiarism in her latest cookbook.

Icymi, Bellamy was involved in controversy last month, as colleagues from social media cook and recipetin founder eat Nagi Maehashi Publicly accused her of copying her recipes for her popular new cookbook, Bake with Brooki.

While Bellamy, who denies the allegations, briefly spoke to the Saga in a press release last month, her social media have remained largely inactive.

Now, in her first post since the scandal was terminated, Bellamy has recorded the official Instagram account of her bakery to explain your social media absence and tackle the scandal.

“I've never taken a break between videos, but I've never seen anything like this in the past few weeks,” said Bellamy in the video that was shot in her Queensland Bakery Brooki Bakehouse.

Explain during your letter Bake with Brooki, Bellamy quoted her mother as her greatest inspiration and said she was really excited to share all the recipes that I have done since my little years.

“These recipes were written on paper, handed over by friends and family, they are passed on for generations.”

Later Bellamy admitted that the recipes in her book are “personal for me”, but did not claim that “the cookies, cupcakes, brownies or cakes have invented in the recipe book”.

“They are all inspired by somewhere and someone in front of me,” she said.

Towards the end of the video, Bellamy, who was exposed to online trolling after Maehashi's allegations, said that she was not “part of a story that fits two women, especially in the same industry”.

“That's all I will say,” added Bellamy.

It comes weeks after the Australian cooking world set fire to Maehashi, a bestseller cookbook author, claimed that Bellamy had plagued two recipes, including a caramel disc and baklava

“This is a story about a multimillion dollar cookbook of a social media influencer published by a Blue-Chip publishing house and contains numerous recipes that in my opinion are plagued,” wrote Maehahi when he brought the allegations to light.
