A fatal crash in the early Saturday morning forced the closure of all lanes to the south on the I-95 near Pompano Beach when the soldiers of the Florida Highway Patrol examined a violent collision with several vehicles.

The crash occurred shortly before 2 a.m. north of the exit 33 to Cypress Creek Road near Pompano Beach in Broward County.

The video of the scene showed a Mercedes Sprinter -Van, which was rotated on the side in the right track, and a heavily damaged black Tesla with dispatched airbags that are several feet away.

The soldiers arrived on site around 2:15 a.m. and combed the area for evidence. The vehicles involved were later towed.

According to the authorities, the I-95 towards the south near the Atlantic Boulevard reopened at 11 a.m.

The identity of the person killed in the crash was not released.

Second Broward crash with Road Ranger

Shortly before 4 a.m., a second crash occurred a few exits in the south, in which another vehicle was involved and what a street truck seemed to be.

It remains unclear whether there were injuries in this incident, but it added the traffic disorders overnight on the already closed interstate.

The Florida Highway Patrol continues to examine both accidents.
