The scandal of the royal family plays in Art House

The queen's nannies come to the Kunsthaus

A scandal of the royal family will play in the Art House Wyong when the celebrated ensemble from Sydney Company brings its high -quality drama The Queen's Nanny to the coast on June 24th.

Inspired by historical events, the drama is based on the first event of a public royal family scandal that triggered by the memoirs that triggered a small princess – the history of the Queen of Queen, Marion Crawford, published in 1950.

Apart from Melanie Tait and Priscilla Jackman for the stage, this is the story of Marion 'Crawfie' Crawford, who revered her job as a governess towards Princess Lillibet and Margaret Rose … until she was oriented for the content of her memoir from the specialist without warning of the princesses and the royal family.

“She was a pioneer: the royal memoirist of the upper floor,” said Tait about Crawford.

“Your book was the first insight into the royals behind closed doors.”

The audience can expect to be able to immerse themselves in dialogue, humor and true history of the nanny of the queen.

This is the first time that the central coast since the diplomacy of the Second World War with John Bell and John Gaden in 2019 has an ensemble theater production on home grass.

The Art House has put together the Queen's nanny with the scenes of the The Theater from Belvoir ST from the Klimam space as a two-show purchase into a lower price drama, which is more accessible to everyone.

The queen's nanny will play the Kunsthaus Wyong on Tuesday, June 24th.
