Video | Studies of the St. Frances Cabrini Honor Memorial Day with US flags in 7th Avenue

West Bend, Wi – Students and Community members show us flags in front of the St. Frances Cabrini Church in honor of those who gave their lives for our freedom.

Students from St. Frances Cabrini K3 and K4 came to Rev. Beach and Deacon Nicholas Waddell to place flags along the Seventh Avenue in West Bend, Wi.

The participants included 208 students together with several community members who took part in the morning mass.

The red, white and blue flags added a brilliant greeting at the Memorial Day weekend.

“It is important to teach children the memorial day because there were many who paid the ultimate victim for this country,” said headmaster William Waech. “Because of their victim as Catholics, we can practice our faith free of oppression. Put these flags and pray the students for those who made this ultimate victim, is a little thing that we can do to show our appreciation.”
