Graduate of the High School Senior from her hospital room after survival of the car accident

Panama City, Florida (WJHG/WECP/Gray News) – After a high school senior was injured in a car crash before the end, the school officials ensured that she still had her moment at the moment by bringing the end to her hospital room.

The parents of McKenzie Price, a senior of the Mosley High School, received the call that no parent ever wanted to get last week: her daughter was involved in a car accident, reports WJHG.

“On the night when her baby is injured, this call will be at night,” said David Price, McKenzie's father.

This call came just a few days before McKenzie's Abitur. She was not wearing a seat belt when she got into a late evening on the Highway 77.

“I was expelled from the jeep. I don't remember something. So I look down and man, my hands were all covered with blood. There was blood everywhere, but I think it was all out of my mouth. There was cuts everywhere,” said McKenzie.

The accident left her with a broken jaw, several broken bones and an injured lung.

“I'll tell you that it was the creepiest night of my life,” said McKenzie's father. “I just couldn't get there quickly enough. I didn't know how bad she was injured. She was on the phone and screamed hysterically crying.

After McKenzie had been stabilized and treated in the Ascension Sacred Heart, the most heartbreaking part came – when she realized that she could not take the stage.

“I have spent 12 years, you know: 'Baby, you have to do your homework' 'Why is this class low?' “Papa, I will get up,” why are you late, “said David Price.

But officials from the Mosley High School, the hospital staff, the superintendent and the friends of the Bay District School ensured that McKenzie still felt particularly special by taking the end to her hospital room.

“Every student is important. Each of them has a unique story. Even those who always smile may have a difficult life in private households to which they go home. Therefore it can have something special that McKenzie cannot participate. I knew them.

McKenzie and her parents say that they are grateful, that she is alive and will be able to fully recover. She particularly thanks her nurse for always putting a smile on her face and taking care of her so much.

“Many people went through it and couldn't find it out and not go on. I am glad that I am able to do so, and I'm so glad that I can go on,” said McKenzie.

She all reminds you how important it is to wear seat belts while driving and says that she would not be in this situation if she had worn her.

After graduation, McKenzie wants to join the coast guard and after recovery she will work towards this goal.
