What we know:

The police identified them as persons who supposedly tried on May 21 to strike and injure two police officers in Chicago to prevent arrest during the trip in the 200 Block of the South Cicero Avenue on the west side of the city.

They were arrested and accused two days later.

It is expected to appear in court for a hearing on Sunday.

What we don't know:

It was unclear what exactly tried to arrest.

The police did not state what the two suspects supposedly did to try to “beat” the officials.
