Five children were taken to the hospital and eight adults were injured after a crash in Wythe County, Virginia, on Saturday morning

Wythe County, va. – A television station in Virginia reports that five children were taken to the hospital and that after a crash in Wythe County, Virginia, eight adults were also injured on Saturday morning, citing police sources.

According to the Virginia State Police, a passenger car that drove south on the I-81, WSET met a tractor trailer at 9 a.m., which caused the entire Interstate to be blocked south. The crash occurred in the 57.4 miles marker.

“There were 13 passengers in the van – five young people aged one year to eight years old,” said VSP. “All young people were taken to the hospital.”
