2 women in Monterey County, who were arrested after the death of the 3 month old baby in the unit daycare center: Sheriff

Monterey County, California – – – The sheriff office of the Monterey County said on Sunday after the death of a three-month-old baby, who were said to be headed for a day-to-day daycare center in Royal Oaks.

On Saturday shortly before 10:30 a.m., the deputies and other first aiders were called to a medical emergency in a residence in the 100 Block of Hillcrest Road. The reporting party said that a child was passed out and did not breathe. The baby was taken to the hospital, but despite life -saving efforts, the child was passed away.

Detectives claim that women would operate an unit daycare center and observe up to 30 children of different ages at the same time.

Two united daycare facilities, Maria Marquez (62), and her daughter Johanna Marquez (35) were arrested on suspicion of the involuntary homicide because of the child's death. They were also booked into a prison for suspicion of crime, to endanger a minor and to operate a day care center that is not licensed.

Both are held against a deposit of $ 50,000 and were still in custody on Sunday evening.
