Yankees start Long Road Trip with series victory against Rockies (Highlights)

The New York Yankees (32-20) had the game on Sunday in Denver, but a timely hit by JC Escarra and strong Bullpen work sealed a 5: 4 victory against the Rockies (9-44) and achieved a sixth victory in a row.

Paul Goldschmidt continued to thrive in the leadoff location, triggered the offensive early on with a first inning single and scored the first run of the game. He added another goal in the fifth and crossed the plate again on Aaron Richter's go-a-haeAD double, broke a 2-2 tie. Goldschmidt was red in needle strips in his first season and set up in 52 games .347/.401/.492.

Judge, who enjoyed his debut series at Coors Field, was with a 2-ear 4-day days that included the Pivotal RBI double. However, the biggest offensive performance came from the backup catcher JC Escarra. Escarra struck seventh place and led the team with three goals and two RBI, including a coupling-dinner-in-in single, which gave the Yanke a two-run pillow, a run that turned out to be crucial.

Will Warren had the start and hopped back well after loading the bases in the first one, restricting the damage to two runs and hit seven over four innings. A rain delay in the fifth cut cut his excursion briefly.

The bullpen kept strong, with Jonathan Loáisiga, Mark Head Jr. and Devin Williams, who combined for 3.1 goalless frames. Luke Weaver allowed a leadoff -Homerun in the ninth Homerun and had to avoid trouble, but ultimately nailed the rescue.
