“This injury is really hard” – Gavi becomes emotional after Barcelona's victory against sportiness

The midfielder of Barcelona Gavi did not hold back when he spoke to the media after the 3-0 win on Sunday against the Athletic Club.

The 20-year-old was again at the starting elevator for the game and, along with Pedri and Fermin Lopez, laid a strong performance.

Gavi says it was a difficult season that brings back his return from a long -term injury and does not recognize people how difficult it is for players.

“We are working on the fact that the fans are satisfied with us. We have shown this character and personality. We always have to win and we did it on a very difficult floor,” he said.

“Every time I played, I did more than enough. Many people do not know how difficult this injury is and how much they suffer.

“But I was very important in all three titles this season, and that's what I have left. Last year we didn't win a single title.”

Gavi also welcomed the teammate Pedri, who recorded another master class for Barcelona in San Mames.

“Everyone knows that Pedri is important in the team,” he added. “Everyone has their role, but what Pedri does for us is something special. And I think everyone knows.”

The midfielder of Barcelona was also quite philosophical in terms of his chances of being called by Spain for the semi -finals of the Nations League next week.

“When he calls me, he calls me. And if not, then public holidays and rest for the next season to win as many trophies as possible with Barça,” he added.
