Trump national security advisor Mike Waltz 'Job leaves' after signal leaf scandal

Waltz took responsibility for a group chat in which high -ranking officials planned military strikes against Yemen

Donald Trump's national security advisor, Mike Waltz, and his deputy Alex Wong will leave their roles in the White House, several outlets have reported.

Waltz and Wong, the most important advisors of the president on national security issues, are expected to leave on Thursday after they have lost the trust of other administrative officers.

This happened after Waltz had taken responsibility for a group chat about messaging platform signal, in which high-ranking civil servants planned military strikes against Yemen. A journalist was wrongly added to chat.

The editor -in -chief of Atlantic Magazine Jeffrey Goldberg later announced that he had been added to the group in the weeks after the strikes to protect the communications between the officials of the White House.

Vice President JD Vance, Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and Defense Minister Pete Hegseth were among the chats officers who unveiled the national security plans of the highest national security, including the Times of the strikes and weapons.
