Girl killed; The alleged drunk driver is charged

A drunk accident in Franklin Massachusetts tears apart the life of a young family.

The police say that a little girl is dead and two of her family members stay in the hospital tonight.

Franklin's police say that the crash was taken at the Grove Street shortly before 6:30 a.m. on Saturday evening.

Air drone film material shows a black pickup with heavy bonnet damage that crosses over a yellow middle divider.

The police collided with a small limousine and said that all 4 of their residents, two parents and two small children, were taken to the hospital.

“I think it is important to understand that Massachusetts has a zero tolerance policy for this stuff,” a Franklin resident told NBC10. “There are signs everywhere and it's just really sad.”

Franklin's police said that 21-year-old James Blanchard was behind the wheel of the pickup.
