After “crazy” Putin, Trump strikes on Ukraine after fatal Russian air strikes | Donald Trump News

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, described his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin as “absolutely crazy” after Moscow had started his greatest air raid in the war against Ukraine and killed at least 13 people.

Trump's comments that were published on his social platform of truth late Sunday was a rare reproduction of Putin.

“I always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin from Russia, but something happened to him. He went absolutely crazy!” The US President wrote.

“I always said that he wants the entire Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe that's right, but if he does it, it will lead to Russia!” he added.

The comments came when the air force of Ukraine said that Russia started a record number of drones against Ukraine overnight overnight. The Russian armed forces had used 298 drones and 69 rockets, but that they could reduce 266 drones and 45 rockets.

The Russian attack was the greatest war in terms of weapons, although other strikes killed more people.

The emergency services of the Ukraine described an atmosphere of the “terror” across the country on Sunday, and the regional officials said that the victims killed eight, 12 and 17 in the northwestern region of Zhytomyr at the age of eight, 12 and 17 years.

More than 60 others were wounded.

“Without really strong pressure on Russian leadership, this brutality cannot be stopped,” said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on social media.

“The silence of America, the silence of others all over the world only encourages Putin,” he said, adding: “Sanctions will certainly help.”

Sanctions

With Putin and the inability to solve the three-year war that the US leader had promised to solve the White House within days after returning.

He had long praised his friendly relationship with Putin and repeatedly emphasized that Russia was more willing than Ukraine to reach a peace agreement.

But earlier on Sunday Trump made it clear that he loses patience with the Russian president.

“I am not satisfied with what Putin does. He kills a lot of people. And I don't know what happened to the hell with Putin,” said Trump reporters when he left Northern New Jersey, where he had spent most of the weekend.

“I have known him for a long time, always came out with him, but he sends rockets into cities and kills people, and I don't like it at all.”

When asked whether he would consider more sanctions against Russia, Trump said: “Absolutely”.

Trump also criticized Zelenskyy, a more frequent goal of his anger, in his social media contribution and accused him of “doing no favors to his country by talking as he did”.

“Everything from his mouth causes problems, I don't like it and it stops better,” he said about Zelenskyy.

Europe condemns Russia

A peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine is still difficult to grasp.

Last week Trump and Putin stopped a two -hour call. After that, the US leader said that Moscow and Kyiv “would start negotiations on an armistice immediately”.

However, Putin did not undertake to pause his three -year invasion of Ukraine, and only announced a vague proposal to work on a “memorandum” in which Moscow's requirements were presented.

This conversation occurred after Russian and Ukrainian officials in Turkiye had met for the first personal discussions since 2022. On Thursday, however, the Kremlin said that no direct discussions were planned.

The Russian attack against Ukraine also led to criticism from Europe.

The top diplomat of the European Union, Kaja Kallas, called “the strongest international pressure on Russia to stop this war”. In a post on X, she said that the attacks “again suffer more and the annihilation of Ukraine endeavors. Devasting to see children among innocent victims who are harm and killed”.

The German Minister of Foreign Affairs, Johann WadePhul, also condemned the attacks and said: “Putin does not want to peace, he wants to continue the war and we shouldn't allow him,” he said.

“For this reason, we will approve further sanctions at European level.”

The massive attacks on Ukraine came when Russia stated that they had exchanged another 303 Ukrainian prisoners of war against the same number of Russian soldiers from Kyiv – the last phase of a swap that was agreed during the talks in Istanbul on May 16.

This was the greatest swapping of prisoners since Moscow launched his full invasion in February 2022. 1,000 captured soldiers and civil prisoners who were sent back from each side.
