Two of the 10 most desired Texas that were captured within a few days

A violent refugee and a convicted sex offender were captured in separate arrests in Texas this week, just a few weeks after landing on the 10 most searched lists of the state.

The authorities arrested David Earl Rogers and Rodolfo Martinez Jr. on April 28th and April 29. Both men were captured within one month after the state's most wanted lists were taken. In both cases, the rewards of crime stopers are not paid.

The 56 -year -old Rogers was custody in a house in Converse on Monday. Members of the US marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents and several other agencies, followed him with examiners. Rogers has a long criminal story in Bexar County with earlier arrests for assault, terrorist threats, illegal possession of a firearm and drug -related crimes. He had been sought since December because of serious assault with a deadly weapon and an attack by a family member by disabling the breath.

The 42 -year -old Martinez Jr. was arrested in an apartment complex in Lubbock on Tuesday. DPS Special Agents as well as the Lorenzo Police Department and the Sheriff's Office of the Lubbock County have coordinated to take him into custody.

In 2008, Martinez Jr. was convicted of breaking down a dwelling to sexually abuse a 15-year-old girl. He had been searched for Harris County since November because he was indecent due to sexual contact with a child. Another arrest warrant was issued in Crosby County in March because he does not meet the requirements for the registration of sex offenders.

So far, 27 people have been arrested in Texas '10 most wanted lists this year, including seven sex offenders and nine criminal illegal immigrants. A total of 25,000 US dollars were paid for tips that have led to arrests.
