Devils' Brenden Dillon's injury revealed: “Shittens at short notice, hopefully well in the long term”

Devil's defender Brenden Dillon was afraid for one of the few times in his career.

Dillon had an unpleasant collision with Carolina striker William Carrier in game 1 of her first round, who brought Dillon onto the ice in the second half with a carrier.

Dillon tried to get up twice, but he fell back immediately until the game finally stopped. A Teufels coach came on the ice to help Dillon, who needed help, but was finally able to drive alone into the changing room. It was the last time he was on the ice before the devils were eliminated in game 5 on Tuesday.

Dillon revealed on Thursday, while the team's end of the team's season interview suffered a neck injury in this piece. He is confident that he can have a normal summer that leads to the next season.

“I've never had a concussion, neck, back, back, something bad in my career,” said Dillon. “I go through the process. It is strange. I had prepared my skates for the third. I write to the employees and trainers. I wanted to be there. But it was the right decision to keep me away. Come (training), I should be optimistic, I should go well. Cunish at short notice, hopefully in good time.”

The worst thing for Dillon was not to be on the ice with his team. In the regular season he played in all 82 games and gained a lot of respect from his teammates with the devils in his first year. He was an alternative captain in her second game of the season and a few times afterwards.

Dillon was also concerned when he was able to continue his robust style of play when he returned. During the regular season, he fought five times – the best of every devil – and Dillon played a coarse -grained defensive game online.

“I've been talking a lot in the last 10 days,” said Dillon. “Players in the league who had similar injuries. Some doctors, surgeons, how I will return 100%. The answer was (I can) for September and October. I have to play a certain way. This is the only way I know how to play.”
