Illinois State Police Update about crash that kill four students in the Chatham After-School Center

The Illinois State Police is launching an update on Thursday afternoon after four students were killed when a vehicle collapsed through a building after the school on Monday.

The driver of the vehicle, the 44-year-old Marianne Akers, left the street through a field for unknown reasons and, according to the police, fell into the east side of the Ynot after the school camp in Chatham. Six other children were brought to hospitals in regional patients, with one being in a critical condition.

Sangamon County's forensic doctor said that all four girls had been declared dead for the incident at the scene of several blunt violent violations.
