The 43 -year -old man died in a fatal crash on Columbus' southeastern side

The Columbus police identified a man who was killed in an accident on the southeastern side of Columbus.

The 43 -year -old Adan Amaya died in an accident at the intersection of the South Hamilton Road and Eastland two shortly before May 24th, May 24th, the Columbus police said.

According to a crash report, a Ford Explorer, who drove north on the South Hamilton Road, ran a red light and fell against a Toyota Camry who drove west on Eastland Two.

A witness told the police that they got the Toyota driver out of the vehicle and ran away. Amaya, the passenger of the Toyota, died at the scene.

The driver of the Ford was brought to Mount Carmel East Hospital in a critical condition.
