Session one

Session of one of the 97th annual FFA Convention in Ohio began with the outgoing FFA officials 2024-2025 that recognize teachers and administrators who affected their lives. 15 chapters were recognized for the donation of over 1,000 US dollars to the Ohio FFA, and other chapters were recognized for the collection of money for a charity of their choice. A total of 178,120 US dollars were collected for charity organizations via the Ohio FFA. Seniormite members received a variety of FFA Foundation scholarships and recognition for their participation in the Ohio FFA Works program. In addition, nine new chapters joined the over 300 FFAs in the state of Ohio.

Nicki Joiner, a professional speaker and former recruiter from JP Morgan Chase, spoke to members about their experiences with rejection and new beginnings. Two important snack bars she left with FFA members: “More is not always better” and “No, does not mean at the moment.” She explained her experiences with the rejection of the UDA dance team, which opened new doors in her life. 20 years later she shares her trip and competes in an adult team.

In order to complete the first session of the 2025 FFA convention in Ohio, the officials were planned for 2025-2026. Click here to get the official officer voting note.
