Celebration of the Liverpool football is affected by car accident

The authorities quickly released information about the driver of a car that had come through a street with pedestrians who celebrated on Monday with a parade with a parade of the Liverpool Soccer Club.

At least 50 people were hospitalized after the Ford galaxy, which were shown in a social media video, directly into a narrow group of fans who arrived a street. Angry fans shattered the vehicle's windows, and the police surrounded the car quickly and arrested the driver.

In addition to the number of injured people – at least two seriously – the Merseyside police answered a growing cacophony on social media, in which he asked if the driver was a terrorist.

“We would ask people not to speculate about the circumstances of today's incident in Water Street in the city center of Liverpool,” said the police in a statement on Monday. “We can confirm that the arrested man is a 53-year-old white British man from the Liverpool area.”

In a press conference on Monday, deputy chief Constable Jenny Sims said the authorities of the opinion that the arrested man of the car drivers and acted alone.

“This was a joyful day in Liverpool with hundreds of thousands of people who celebrate the streets to celebrate the victory parade of the Liverpool Football Club,” said Sims. “Unfortunately shortly after 6 a.m. [Monday]When the parade came to an end, we received reports that a car with a series of pedestrians in Water Street had been in the city center of Liverpool.

“Extensive inquiries have not yet been completed to determine the circumstances that lead to collision, and it is important that people on social media do not speculate or spread misinformation.

“I know that people will understandably be concerned about what happened. I can tell you that we believe that this is an isolated incident and that we are not currently looking for someone else.

“The incident is currently not being treated as terrorism.”

At a press conference on Tuesday, the police said that the driver was arrested for suspected attempted murder, dangerous driving and driving under the influence of drugs. They also said that the driver followed an ambulance to Water Street, which had previously been blocked. The emergency vehicle was made available so that first aiders could take care of a person who suffers from an obvious heart attack.

The police in England usually limited information about suspects to the age of the person and the place of arrest. The quick publication of details about the alleged driver by the Merseyside Police is in contrast to the lack of information that was published last summer about a 17-year-old in custody to sting young girls in a dance studio in Southport, England.

Axel Rudakubana killed three children and injured 10 more in the yoga and dance workshop in Taylor Swift. Shortly after the attack, anti-immigration protests spread in England. A Southport Mosque was damaged and more than 20 police officers were injured with right-wing extremists during a close combat after misinformation about the attacker's identity.

The police later said Rudakubana was born in the Welsh city of Cardiff and lived near Southport. He was sentenced to 52 years in January because he had killed Alice da Silva Aguiar, 9, Elsie Dot Stancombe (7) and Bebe King, 6.

The mayor of the city in Liverpool City, Steve Rotheram, announced on Monday that the police were “very, very quickly”, when he disclosed that the suspect knows in the car accident and was a resident of Liverpool to counteract speculation on social media.

The incident caused Buckingham Palace to explain that King Charles and Queen Camilla “deeply shocked and sadly heard about the terrible events that took place in Liverpool on Monday. It is really devastating that a joyful celebration for so many under stressful circumstances could end.”

Liverpool won the title of Premier League with a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace on Sunday, last day of the season.
