Uhland teenager killed while shooting; Teen -suspicious of murder charges

Uhland, Texas – – The Uhland Police Department says that an 18-year-old was taken into custody and was charged with murder in connection with a shooting death.

The background story:

On May 25th around 1 a.m., Uhland PD said that it reacted to a report about a shootout that took place outside of a residence in the Rocky Road.

According to the police, the preliminary investigation shows that an argument has taken place while a firearm was produced.

The victim identified as 18-year-old Andrew Faria's victim was shot and declared dead at the crime scene.

The suspect, the 18-year-old Chad Lee-Gardner, fled before the officials arrived.

Uhland PD announced on social media that Lee-Gardner was custody at the end of the evening on May 26 in Austin with the help of the Texas Rangers.

Lee-Gardner was instructed in the Travis County prison for a murder.
