Lando Norris compared to Taylor Swift as a helmet in Miami F1 breaks

One can certainly say that Lando Norris attracted our attention before the Grand Prix from 2025 because he reveals the dazzlingly shiny helmet that we have ever seen in Formula 1. The McLaren driver introduced this disco ball-inspired helmet with the fans who compared him to pop superstar Taylor Swift. It is Lando's era and nobody can stop him.

With a metallic chrome finish, the design of the helmet looks as if it could be traced directly from the fever's set on Saturday evening. The official Lando Norris Store already sells 1-2 scale replicas of the helmet for 199 pounds, which was produced by the same team behind its real example.

The product description says:

“Celebrate the breakthrough of Lando's breakthrough in a real Miami-style with the disco ball helmet. This piece in limited edition catches the energy of his Jungfraus win with a metallic finish inspired by disco ball. One-the perfect exhibition for every LN4 fan.

“These model helmets were created by Bell, the same team with which the Helmlando races are created. It has an adjustable visor, a chin belt, the interior and Hans clip.”

This is followed by a number of helmets of the driver's special edition, which in 2022 unveiled a basketball design for his Miami campaign. A beach ball design followed in 2023.

While this is still about the ball topic, this has certainly brought his helmet game to new heights.

As they would imagine, the fans quickly commented on the contribution, with many comparisons with Taylor Swift. A commentator joked: “Alexa Spiel 'Mirrorball' by Taylor Swift.”

“Okay, Taylor Swift,” laughed another commentator as third, “Shining Just for Youuuu”, a Lyric from Swift's song on her eighth studio album folklore.

Interestingly, Swift's connection to the Miami Grand Prix goes deeper than these comments. Your partner, NFL star Travis Kelce, has connections to Formula 1 as an investor in the Alpine team. Norris won his first win at the Grand Prix 2024 and later a day Kelce met in a restaurant. When he spoke to Greg James from Radio One, he discussed his meeting of the athlete.

“He mainly invested in the wrong team,” he joked. “Yes … that went well! Everyone to their own. Many people now know about Travis, especially after the Super Bowl and everything.

“I met him, I was on the road at dinner, I had to get some food in me after the race. One of my friends introduced me to him and he was a great guy, he was a legend. He was very cute and we exchanged numbers and hopefully I can reach a game one day. Or a Taylor Swift concert!”

Norris hopes to continue his success in Miami this weekend, although he was recently overtaken by team-mate Oscar Piatri after the Australian won the Grand Prix Saudi Arabian. When he left Piatri 10 points in the driver's route, he admitted that he did not want to rely on upgrades to find another performance from his Papaya car.
