Elkhart Mother convicted of her baby's death

Goshen, Ind. (Wndu) – An Elkhart woman was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the death of her baby.

According to our reporting partners at The Goshen News, Alauraeve learned their sentence every last week.

Before that, she was accused of killing her 6 -month -old baby, but she still received a high judgment after the court found out that she was not responsible for the action by harmping the child herself, but that she was not regularly present for her child.

In the night of July 7, 2023, first aiders were designated in an apartment in the 300 block of the Middlebury Street in Elkhart. There they found the 6 -month -old baby passed out and did not breathe.

The baby was taken to the hospital where it died the next day.

All of them first told the investigators that she had left the baby in the care of friends, but later told them that she was angry with her and shook her.

According to the Goshen News, everyone is guilty of neglecting as a murder when the deputy prosecutor said that Allen's attacks on the baby were not the cause of death, but other peoples.
