NTSB publishes new details on the Tuscarawas County plane crash

Tuscarawas County, Ohio (Woio) – The National Transportation Safety Board published new details about a plane crash in which a new man from Philadelphia was killed in April.

The plane fell into a field near Midvale, Ohio, and killed the pilot, 62-year-old Orville J. Evans.

According to the report, the pilot's family members stated that he had practiced “360 ° maneuver”.

The report states that the pilot, when the plane was on its 2-mile end, announced to cancel the approach to the east. The instruction flight flew an extended left -wing stage of the traffic pattern so that N8242Q entered the final rapprochement leg again and then stepped back into the edge. Shortly afterwards, the N8242Q pilot announced that it carried out a “360” for the final approach. The pilots observed N8242Q in a nose-down posture that turned to the ground.
