Svechnikov Rediscvers achieved touch for hurricanes in playoffs

The striker Taylor Hall, who came to the Hurricanes from the Chicago Blackhawks on January 24th in a three-team trade, often played with SVechnikov in the last 31 games of the regular season. Hall, the Hart Trophy winner in 2018, voted the most valuable NHL player at the Devils, believes that Svechnikov (6-foot 3, 199 pounds) still has to play his best.

“He is a very talented athlete,” said Hall. “He is one of these types that you don't see very often in an NHL cover room. He is big, he is strong, he is fast, he has quick-twitching muscles. He can shoot it and he has vision. He can be as good as he wants to be.

“I don't think this is negative, but I still think that there is space for him to grow and get better. To believe that he is still in her mid -20s, I think that there is a lot for him. He wants to be the best. He puts a lot of pressure on himself, maybe a little too much as we all do sometimes.”

Svechnikov's latest success gives him the hope that the fights of the regular season will be over. He knows that he is an important piece of Carolina's Playoff puzzle. As Brind'amour said: “This depends on everyone.

Svechnikov knows that he is well suited to be such a player. In game 4 he achieved a snapshot from above on the right circle for 52 seconds and then tipped a Seth Jarvis shot into the power play in the second period. He ended the hat trick with a gate with an empty network in the third.

“I know I have it in myself,” he said. “I have everything in me to be one of the best players out there on the ice. I know that. You have to appear and show it.”

This trust is exactly what his trainer wants to hear.

“I am glad that he feels like that,” said Brind'amour. “This is the season. You all need, but obviously [there are] Certain players who have this unique game that has to shine. You must be on the score leaf must be effective in the game in the game. Obviously was 'Svech' and we need him to continue to do so. “
