The Tornado watch for the region calls for possible super cell development

Rochester, MN (Kroc -AM News) -The area of ​​Rochester and almost the entire southern half of Minnesota are now in a tornado clock this evening.

It is forecast that heavy storms move in the region tonight, and some could be serious. The National Weather Service says that the main threat by the storms of hail and wind as well as the potential for tornados and even long stretch tornados will damage. On a scale from 1 to 5, the National Storm Center in Southern Minnesota is rated at level 4 with the risk of a storm.

A stacked low-pressure area draws moisture from the south to the region, and forecasts say that it could produce so-called super cells, which are often associated with strong tornado activity and a large hail. From 4 p.m., possible tornado activities marched in the St. Cloud region, warnings in the St. Cloud region, and a number of strong thunderstorm marched over Southwest and South Central Minnesota, where serious thunderstorms came into force.
