Did the brand new Jeep® compass have just licked online? Explore

Well, people – Jeep fans and curious car lovers – it looks as if the Internet had something preceded by the official game plan of Jeep. We are removed just a few days before the planned unveiling of the young Jeep compass of the next generation (Codenamed J4U), and yet a number of high-quality pictures of what seems to be the real production model have hit the Internet early.

According to reports, the seeping photos show the upcoming global compass from almost every corner that can imagine front, rear, profile and even the interior. The vehicles appear in two -colored surfaces such as electrically blue, light neon green and crispy white, each covered with a black roof. Although it seems to be European models, they offer a fairly solid look at what is to be expected when it hits our coast here in North America.

This is the first complete redesign for the compass since 2017 and is a big one. The new model runs on Stellis' STLA medium architecture-a flexible EV-First platform, which is also used by brands such as Peugeot and Opel. This means that the new compass is ready for a global audience with a wide mix of drive strands: full battery electrical (BEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and mild hybrid options.

For EV fans, the most exciting rumor is the 98 -KWH -Akku, which could deliver around 350 miles in the EPA cycle (about 563 km). This is a big leap from what most compact SUVs offer today and would place the compass in the middle of the electric crossover race.

Despite all this electrification, jeeps were not forgotten off-road roots. The new compass holds its characteristic short overhangs and square wheel boxes, good news for everyone who wants to take it from the sidewalk. In the meantime, new design elements such as LED-illuminated seven-slot grilles, X-shaped LED delights and a bright jeep logo on the back give this modern, robust touch.

Inside, the cockpit looks completely digitally and upscale – based on the seeped photos. Expect large touchscreens, updated materials and the type of tech buyer in the compact SUV segment.

Here is the catch: While Europe gets this new compass first and the production is already in operation in the Melfi meeting in Italy, North American buyers have to wait. Jeep holds the start of the United States and the Canadian start until early 2026 and gives the company time to assemble the drive trains in such a way that they are more suitable for our market – especially if the EV turnover currently cools down here.

It is likely that US SPEC models skip the 1.2-liter turbocharger with three cylinders mild hybrid setup with three cylinders. Instead, Jeep could decide for something with more grunt-maybe the same 1.6-liter turboch four-cylinder hybrid drive train as the upcoming Cherokee (KM). You keep this part under lock and key.

And who do we thank for this early look? The productive virtual artist Vince Burlapp – Online as a VBurlapp and via his website Burlappcar.com, which always has an ear in the foreground in the industry rumors and leaks, becomes the productive virtual artist. However, it seems that more pictures have appeared online that seem to be the official press or advertising pictures for the next generation compass. Regardless of whether this was a deliberate marketing trick or an unplanned slip, we will probably never know-but one thing is certain: the cat is out of the pocket.
