Lucas Bergvall measures the rest of Tottenham's season with ankle injury, confirms Poseteclou

Poseteclou says that the midfielder of Tottenham Hotspur, Lucas Bergvall, is expected to fail for the rest of the season for the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old mountain valle missed the semi-finals of the Spurs' Europa League with an injury the day before on Thursday against Bodo/Glimt. The absence of the teenager was the first time that he was not involved in Spurs' Matchday squad this season.

Postecoglou described James Maddison as “concerns” after being replaced by a knee injury in the second half of the victory against Bodo/Glimt. The midfielder should undergo a scan about this problem.

After the victory on Thursday, the trace head coach said that Bergvall, which was shown in a protective boot and on crutches, was evaluated to determine the extent of the injury, and confirmed during the press conference on Friday that he would not occur for the rest of the 2024-25 campaign.

The midfielder, who signed a contract extension with the club on Tuesday by 2031, has played 45 times for Spurs since his arrival of Djurgard. He refused to move to Barcelona when he agreed to Spurs in February 2024 and officially joined the club in July.

“He had a big week that had been reorganized with the club and had a great year for us,” said Postecoglou on Thursday. “As I said, it is exactly how our season has disappeared, where it injures his ankle while training something Harmlous.

Bergvall's absence means that he will miss Tottenham's last four games of the Premier League season as well as the second stage of her semi-final against Bodo and the final in May against the Norwegian team.
