UPS drivers start video, which smashed into parked trucks and drives away | VIDEO

Clarksville, TN (Now Clarksville) – Justin Burgos relocated his Ford excursion from 2001 to the streets in April to limit damage caused by falling debris. But instead of storm damage, his truck took a goal from a UPS driver on April 2. As can be seen on Burgos' surveillance camera film material, the driver looks at the damage and then drives away.

“I started searching my ring material, and then I found this video,” said Burgos now to Clarksville. “To be honest, I was more angry that the guy without saying anything than the fact that he hit my vehicle went. It was a kind of insult. This type will hit my vehicle and then just go without having it.”

“You cannot buy a reliable vehicle for 3,000 US dollars”

Now Burgos is trying to understand everything after Liberty Mutual, Ups' Insurance Company viewed the vehicle in total and offered it around 3,000 US dollars for his value.

“The vehicle is a Ford excursion from 2001 limited, it is all-wheel drive,” said Burgos now Clarksville. “It has 250,000 miles, which is quite common for you, whether you believe it or not. In view of the fact that you were no longer produced, I don't want you to say the subject of the collector, but you are very much in demand.

“I don't want to pay my house or something. If you totally integrate my vehicle, help me to get into another vehicle,” he said. “You cannot buy a reliable vehicle for 3,000 US dollars.”

On Monday morning, Clarksville now turned to Liberty Mutual to get a comment. They rejected and said they said they did not publicly discuss individual claims. But on Monday afternoon they increased the amount of 3,000 to 8,000 US dollars. Burgos said he is planning to accept.

Promised “appropriate discipline”

Burgos said he also did not estimate the lack of communication from UPS, even if they sent an investigator to his house to look at the damage without his knowledge.

When UPS Global Communications spokesman Becca Hunnicutt was contacted by Clarksville Now, he said: “We are aware of an incident in which one of our drivers is involved. The drivers are taught to be aware of their surroundings and report incidents to their management team. We took an appropriate discipline with the employee involved. ”

When asked what these disciplinary measures are, Hunnicutt said that UPS does not comment on certain personnel issues.
