Connection company punished due to critical violation of the employee

The screen box was excluded and de-energy, but the feed conveyor who fed the screen box was not the case.

As he tried to step through the moving sponsor, the worker suffered a critical injury.

An investigation by the Ministry for Labor, Immigration, Training and Skillful Development showed that the feed conveyor was not adequately guarded because the workers on the catwalk had access to the sponsors' drive disc.

“On the basis of the company's failure, an employee was not violated to ensure a reasonable machine guard who corresponds to Regulation 854, mines and mining systems in Section 196 (3.1). This is a crime in accordance with Section 66 (1) of the Act on Occupational Occupational Safety,” said the ontario government.

Section 196 (3.1) of Ordinance 854 states: Subject to the sub -section (3.2), the pinch points mentioned in the sub -section (3) are guarded by a security guard, which, unless he would make the pinch of point accessible, extends at least 0.9 meters from the pinch point.
