Tour van Crash near Yellowstone National Park leaves 7 dead, the police said, the police say

According to Idaho State Police, seven people died after a tour van and a pickup near Yellowstone National Park were collided.

The fatal accident occurred on Thursday evening on the US Highway 20 near Henry's Lake State Park in the east of Idaho, about 16 miles west of Yellowstone in Wyoming.

“At around 7:15 p.m. ISP -Troopers reacted to the collision at Milepost 399. The crash included a Dodge Ram pickup and a Mercedes passenger -van. There were 14 inmates in the van and a resident, the driver in the pickup. Tragically, six people died in the van and the driver of the pickup died as a result of the Uncörs” Idaho State Police, “said Idaho.

“The van worked as a travel vehicle. Due to the extent of the incident and the ongoing process to notify the next relatives, no names, age groups, home towns or nationalities were published. As soon as it is available, the Coroner office provides Foreign County information,” continued it.

The cause of the crash will be examined on Friday.

“The US Highway 20 was completely closed for almost seven hours, while rescue workers and the Idaho transport department worked to manage the scene and extinguish the road. The street is open to regular traffic,” said the Idaho police.
