Ms. dies after an accident with two vehicles in Otoe County

Otoe County, Neb. (Koln) – A woman is dead after an accident with two vehicles in Otoe County on Thursday evening.

At 7:39 p.m., the Otoe County Sheriff's Office reacted together with fire and rescue units from Unadilla and Syracuse to the intersection of Highway 2 and County Road 20 for an accident with injuries.

The examination shows that a Buick -Enlave that drove south on the County Road 20 crossed the Highway 2 when it was hit by a dodge caliber that drove west on the Highway 2.

The driver of the Dodge caliber, a 21-year-old woman in Kansas City, was brought to Syracuse Area's health with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Buick-Enklave, 75-year-old Barbara Brandt from Unadilla, was also brought to the health of Syracuse Area, where she died.

There were no passengers in both vehicles, and the seat belts were used by both drivers, said the Sheriff's office. Otoe County's office continues the examination.
