Cullman man killed in the HWY. 31 crash

Cullman, Ala. -A Cullman man was killed on Monday morning in an accident with two vehicles at the intersection of the US Highway 31 and 24th Street Southeast.

Cullman County's forensic doctor, Jeremy Kilpatrick, identified the victim as William Lavon Harper, 73. He was declared dead at the scene. Kilpatrick said Harper was the only death in the incident.

Joey Duncan, head of the Cullman Police Department, said

Due to the severity of the injuries, the department for traffic murder of the department was called for examination.

The collision included a 1999 Chevrolet S-10 pick-up and a 2022 Ford Econoline Bus.

The authorities have not published any additional information and the investigation has not yet been completed.
