The investigators say

Deerbrook, Wis. (WSAW) – Toxicology is still pending for one of two people who were killed last month north of Antigo during a traffic accident.

The crash occurred on April 18 at 9:30 a.m. on County Highway C and the Rangeline Road in the city of Vilas. The location is located northwest of Antigo and east of Hold's Bar in Deerbrook.

According to the authorities, a vehicle driven by Matthew Johnson, 40, from the state of Washington, collided with one of Victoria Reetz (56).

In a crash report, Johnson's Ford Expedition has crossed the center line and hit Reetzs Ford F150. The investigators suspect that Johnson was under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash. It will probably take a few weeks before the toxicological report.

Note from the publisher: Several spectators said Johnson was a suspect in a case of Dane County who tried to attempt to murder. This is another person with the same name and has no connection to this crash.
