AanHP video by King County Metro nominated for Emmy

King County Metro was honored with a northwest regional Emmy Awards nomination for a video in which the American Asian Hawaiian Pasifika (AanHP) culture was celebrated.

The 10-minute video, which was created completely internally by the transit agency, offers metro employees and artists Vance Sakado, Linh HoàngPresent Keiko BudechAnd WAN-LIN TSOU.

“Our four U -Bahn colleagues have created powerful works of art as part of the AanHP vivibility project,” said Metro Multimedia Producer Thomas Hawthornewho staged the emmy-nominated video. “While her art was selected to put the community to placed-as bus text series, at Metro Workites and in bus accommodation in the city center.
