Mark Sears, Grant Nelson, Labaron Philon, invited to the NBA Draft Combine

Mark Sears, Grant Nelson and Labaron Philon were all invited to the NBA Draft Combine, the NBA said on Friday.

Alabama's three basketball players are part of a group of 75 that were invited to Chicago this month to take part in the event. The NBA Draft Combine is defined in the Windtrust Arena and in the Marriott Marquis for May 11th to 18th.

Sears and Nelson cannot return to college, since both of them are justified after the 2024-25 season, which ended in the elite eight. Philon still has the authorization to use College if he wishes. But he has to withdraw his name until May 28th, which is the NCAA period for the early entry deduction if Philon wants to return to college.

“I would say 100% draft, but they know that things can change,” said Philon at the beginning of this week. “You never know. But I would say I love Bama. The whole program, the school, the state. It was all the best when I played there. I never have a hatred or nothing of the like.
